Prime Day Finds I Think You'll Like 📦

Happy Tuesday Reader,

It is Prime Day and I like to share when things I actually use & love are on sale (& worth the click).

Prime Day Deals 📦

  • I have to lead with my favorite slow cooker. I think this is the price it was when I got it YEARS ago (currently 36% off!).
  • Or this smaller one (in the cutest color) for dips.
  • One I like to stock up on - I use it for crockpot cleaning & laundry stains alike.
  • My girls (& Bob) love these chips and this price is better than Sam's/Costco.
  • I treated myself to this stainless steel paddle attachment (my original was chipped) & should've waited for the sale.
  • I vacuumed the basement the other day & was both appalled & impressed with how much this vacuum picked up. I've had it for many years & still love it.
  • I keep this cordless vac handy in the kitchen. It's perfect for after dinner crumbs. My mom loved it so much I got her one, too.
  • I am a huge fan of Libby & Hoopla for borrowing books, but a few times lately the wait has been too long for my patience. I signed up for both Kindle Unlimited (Julia shares it with me & has read a ton) and Audible for a few audio books while cooking/gardening/walking. Both are having really good intro deals right now that you can test out (3 months free!) & cancel if needed.

I could keep going but this would get too long, so you can view all my favorites in my storefront below (including this collection I put together yesterday).

Are you shopping for anything today? I'm happy to help you look!

Hi Reader, Father's Day is Sunday and the dads in my life don't want ties & they don't play golf. That eliminates 90% of the stereotypical gifts. They want to be fed, spend time with family, and relax. So this week leans into exactly that. Meaty, a little messy, and mostly hands-off so you're not chained to the stove while everyone else is out in the yard. A few crockpot sandwiches that do their own thing all afternoon, a one-pan dinner, and two desserts worth clearing a little counter space...

Hi Reader, While I’m generally more of a chocolate girl and my usual choices are a brownie or fudge cake, I can be swayed by fresh fruit. And I’m definitely swayed by strawberries in the summer. These are a few of the strawberry desserts I look forward to making every year. If you've got a basket of strawberries sitting on your counter (or you're looking for a reason to buy one), these 6 recipes are a great place to start. Hi Reader, One more day of school! We're running on fumes over here and ready to kickoff summer. If ideas have been sparse at your house as well, hopefully these help... What to Make Wednesday After taking Rose to Olive Garden for her birthday, she decided she likes my homemade alfredo better (it's really easy!). If you don't make them this week, save this baked beans recipe for the 4th. I'm not much for frosting on brownies but I'm tempted to try my super simple 5-minute frosting on my small...
